Dental Bonding
Bonding can be used to correct cosmetic concerns when a more minimally invasive procedure is preferred.

Dental bonding utilizes an etching of the tooth surface which roughens it allowing the material to bond to the tooth.  The material used is called composite and comes in a variety of shades.

Dr. Ines will sculpt the composite material directly onto the tooth carefully matching the color to your natural tooth and shaping the material to cosmetically close spaces, repair chipped teeth or change the color or shape of your natural tooth.

Porcelain Veneers
Porcelain veneers are tooth-shaped porcelain facings that are cemented onto the tooth.

Porcelain veneers are a long-lasting cosmetic option to improve color and shape and widen your smile.  Dr. Ines designs the veneers himself and then mills them in-office on his Cerec machine.  Porcelain veneers simulate the real look of enamel and Dr. Ines can custom shape and color them to your desired look.

Bleaching
Tooth whitening improves the color of the teeth to a lighter shade giving you a more youthful appearance.

Teeth whitening is an easy way to look younger!  Teeth begin to discolor as we age.  You can reverse this aging process by whitening your teeth and erase those years away.

There are two methods of teeth bleaching - the home method which uses custom made trays to hold the bleaching gel against your teeth or we can bleach them for you in the office in two hours.

Ask us about teeth whitening and we can help you decide which method is best for you.

Crowns and Bridges
Crowns (sometimes referred to as caps) and porcelain bridges are dental restorations that restore broken or missing teeth.

Porcelain crowns are frequently used to repair a tooth with excessive decay, teeth that need structural support after a root canal, or teeth that are broken or cracked.   As long as the root structure is still intact, it is usually possible to place a crown on the existing tooth to save that tooth.

There are gold crowns and there are porcelain crowns.  Porcelain crowns are preferred because they look like natural teeth.

Dental technology and materials are always advancing and getting better and better. Dr. Ines utilizes the newer porcelain materials of Empress, Emax and Lava in conjunction with his Cerec milling machine to custom design and fabricate porcelain crowns, bridges and veneers in the office while you wait.

We would be happy to discuss all of your treatment options during your consultation.

Dental Implants
Dental Implants are a great treatment option for replacing missing teeth, bridges and dentures.

Dental implants have come a long way and are now as commonly used to replace missing teeth as fixed bridges and partial dentures were in the past.

Dental implants are the method of choice to replace missing teeth because they reinforce the jaw bone, prevent further bone loss and provide stability to the jaw and face.

Gum Recontouring
Gum recontouring shapes the gumline to a more aesthetic look.

Gum recession is a common problem in older adults, but can also be caused by toothbrush abrasion.  Gum recession can cause sensitivity to cold liquids and toothbrushing.

Dr. Ines has been specially trained in a new technique called Pinhole Surgical Technique (PSTâ„¢).  This periodontal surgical technique does not require a donor site of tissue like the traditional gum graft procedure and the healing process is much quicker.

Another cosmetic concern with some patients is an uneven gumline where the gum is lower on some teeth compared to the adjacent teeth.  It can make the teeth seem shorter and give you a gummy smile.  An easy fix is gum recontouring where the gumline is recontoured with a laser to provide a more balanced gumline.  This is similar to doing plastic surgery on your gums and can make a world of difference in the beauty of your smile.

In-Office Lab
Dr. Ines considers dentistry an art and a science.

Technological advances in dentistry are happening at light speed.  One of the most exciting of these advances is the availability of the Cerec milling machine in dental offices.  This is a game changer.

Dr. Ines can now design and mills his own porcelain restorations in the office utilizing the Cerec milling machine.

The advantage of Dr. Ines milling his own restorations is that he has more control over the fit and he can custom design your veneer, crown or onlay and then exactly match the color of your natural teeth while you wait.

No more second visits, no more temporaries!  You will leave the office with your brand new porcelain restoration!

Tooth-colored fillings
Composite Fillings, Porcelain Inlays & Onlays

Composite fillings are tooth-colored fillings which provide natural looking fillings versus those ugly silver fillings. Composite fillings are not only more aesthetic in appearance, but they are a better filling as far as fit and longevity too!  No more gray fillings and gray stained enamel that make your whole tooth look dark.

Composite fillings are the restoration of choice for small cavities.  Restoration of a tooth with extensive decay or very large existing fillings may require a porcelain inlay or onlay.
